In honour of the Mackenzie family that headed the development of the new era at the Estate.
Their vision remains simple: To do whatever it takes to produce wines of outstanding quality by anybody's standards. Aromas of plum, cranberry, and raspberry layer subtle fynbos and mocha. The palate is richly textured, revealing concentrated dark fruit. Refined tannins carry through to a long, poised finish.TASTING NOTE Enticing aromas of blackberries, fynbos, and a hint of dark chocolate on the nose. The palate showcases vibrant blackcurrants and raspberries, layered with smoky undertones. A plush, enveloping texture is balanced by fine, grippy tannins, culminating in a long, satisfying finish - a true masterclass in the craft of blending.
FOOD PAIRING
