Pieter Ferreira – “Mr. Bubbles”
Affectionately known throughout the wine industry as “Mr. Bubbles,” Pieter Ferreira has been instrumental in shaping the identity and global reputation of Graham Beck since joining the estate in 1990. He led the winery’s very first harvest in 1991 and spent more than three decades perfecting the house style of premium Cap Classique wines.
Ferreira’s passion for sparkling wine was developed through vintages in France’s Champagne region, including experience at renowned houses such as Mumm and Moët & Chandon. His meticulous approach, dedication to quality, and innovative spirit helped establish Graham Beck as one of the world’s leading sparkling wine producers. Today, he serves as Chief Operating Officer while continuing to champion Cap Classique globally.
Pierre de Klerk – Continuing the Legacy
Pierre de Klerk represents the next generation of Graham Beck winemaking excellence. Having worked under Ferreira’s mentorship for more than a decade, he now leads the cellar as Cellarmaster. Pierre is recognised for his precision, attention to detail, and commitment to preserving the distinctive Graham Beck style while continuing to innovate for the future.
Under his guidance, Graham Beck continues to earn international acclaim for wines that combine freshness, finesse, and complexity, further cementing the estate’s reputation as a global leader in sparkling wine production.
